Abstract
Background: Despite recent advances in cardiovascular disease (CVD) outcomes in type-1 Diabetes, young patients
have more than 10-fold greater risk of morbidity and mortality associated with it. Type-1 diabetes has a higher risk
of coronary heart and CVD than the general population. However, it is nonetheless connected to CVD outcomes.
Early subclinical left ventricle systolic dysfunction in asymptomatic diabetic individuals may now be detected using
novel imaging methods like as tissue Doppler imaging and speckle tracking echocardiography
Keywords
Left ventricular systolic dysfunction, LVSD, Type 1 diabetes, T1D, asymptomatic.
