Abstract
Aromatase inhibitors (AIs) are key components in chemoprevention and treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+) breast cancer. AIs are associated with musculoskeletal adverse effects known as the aromatase inhibitor-associated musculoskeletal syndrome (AIMSS), in which the estrogen levels decrease. One of the effects of estrogen is anti-inflammatory. The mechanism of this anti-inflammatory effect is by reducing the synthesis of inflammatory cytokines. Moringa oleifera is a traditional plant that contains glucosinolates, which when hydrolized will produce a component called isothyosianates
