Effect of SFBT on Anorexic Women: A Review Paper

Abstract
Anorexia nervosa (Anorexia) is an eating disorder associated with physical and mentalhealth problems predominantly diagnosed in women. The behavioral characteristics ofanorexia induce several problems physically and mentally. Thesephysiologicalandmentaldeteriorationmaycausesevereobstructionsatearlyandlaterstageofwomen’slife. There have been several approaches established by healthcare system that havestill been compromising to make a better change for women suffering from anorexia.Health care sector has started familiarizing a psychotherapy,solutionfocusedbrieftherapy,whichmaychangethelifeofanorexicwomen.Gettingawareofthepathophysiology,signsandsymptoms,longtermeffectandtherapylikesolutionfocused brief therapy may reduce the number of women with anorexia. This reviewdescribesthesymptoms,causes,longevity,mortality,physicalandmentaleffect,solutionfocusedbrieftherapyofwomenwithanorexia.
