Effectiveness of Talent Management Practices on Employee Retention in Modern Management Era Reference to IT Companies in Chennai

Abstract
Today the term Talent Management to every one of the incorporated practices we use to draw in, make due, create, and repay individuals. Before getting into the processes of talent management themselves, it is important to realize that in today‘s organizations, the talent‘ is everywhere. It is necessary to retain the employees in the organizations. In an IT companies talent management means that managing the strength of employees, competency level and their potential within an organization. Main objectives of the study is to observe the impact of work competencies and employee engagement on employee retention in select IT companies in Chennai. Research methodology has been adopted the investigation is descriptive in nature and it is an exact review. An overview was led with the IT representatives working in selected IT organizations at Chennai City. The reliability quality of the enquiry plan and the singular things in it were tried with the assistance of Cronbach alpha. In this research, the researcher has explored the talent management practices in different dimensions. Also, the research has examined how the talent management practices help to retain their employees in IT industry at Chennai. From the finding of the present study, it is found from the relationship examination that at whatever point educational qualification, monthly income, insight in the organization and working hours out of each day builds their abilities and abilities planning additionally emphatically increments. Further, at whatever point the age expands their capabilities and abilities planning diminishes. The result from the study contributed that job perceived by male respondents are high level of satisfaction. So, the IT companies should find the crisis is whether need training programmes, needed guidance or comfort time and take necessary action to rectify the crisis.With the rising competition, lack of capacity, globalization and reliably creating need to direct capacity the augmentation for examination of capacity the board practice procures importance.
