Abstract
Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) is the most common healthcareassociated infection, accounting for 80% of all hospital-acquired infections. The prevalence of this problem
and indwelling urinary catheter use is still a major issue. This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge
for nurses and the effectiveness of educational course on nurses’ knowledge regarding Catheter-Associated
Urinary Tract Infection -prevention guidelines
