Effects of Coenzyme Q10 Administration on Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure in Pre-Hypertensive Patients

Abstract
This study has assessed the effect of coenzyme Q10 among patients with systolic and diastolic blood pressure of
prehypertensive of 50 participants including 30 males and 20 females were selected for this research according to
their clinical diagnosis of prehypertensive symptoms, the study was placed in were seen in Al-Sader Teaching Hospital,
in Misan hospital, IRAQ. The patients were divided by half into the control group and the other group which received
the Q10 within their diet and lifestyle for 12 weeks. The results showed that the daily consumption of coenzyme q10
(200mg) with significant improvements in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in prehypertensive patients.
