Evaluation of Thyroid hormones in Diabetic patients who affected with COVID-19

Abstract
Background: COVID-19 disease is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2). This infectious disease was previously known as Novel Coronavirus-Infected Pneumonia (NCIP)
by the WHO, and the virus was dubbed 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Abnormal levels of thyroid
hormones alter metabolism, and thyroid hormones are significant determinants of glucose homeostasis,
and affect fasting glucose levels by antagonizing insulin action.
