Evaluation of anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of Malvastrumtricuspidatum leaves in various animal models

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of Malvastrumtricuspidatum
(M.Tricuspidatum) leaves methanol extract using different models in rats.
Methods:M.Tricuspidatum leaves ethanol extract (100, 300, 1000 and 2000 mg/kg body weight) was
given to rats orally and observed for 14 days to measure the toxicity. Anti-inflammatory and antipyretic
activities were evaluated using various animal models
