Abstract
Facial recognition technology has emerged as a powerful biometric identification tool in various applications,
including security and access control. However, this paper aims to explore using facial recognition technology to
evaluate a person's character based on facial features. To achieve this, we have developed an Android app using
MediaPipe solution-core library, with optional face detection and face mesh solutions. This study discusses the
benefits and drawbacks of using facial recognition for character evaluation and explores the various methods used
for feature extraction. We also examine the criteria people use to evaluate facial recognition systems in this context.
Our findings indicate the potential for future research in this area, especially in improving accuracy and reducing the
risk of bias in facial recognition algorithms.
