FACE RECOGNITION BASED AUTOMATED STUDENT ATTENDANCE SYSTEM

Abstract
The human face is a symbol of uniqueness understood around the world. So, we've proposed an automated student attendance system that uses facial recognition to verify enrollment. One of the many real-world uses for this technology is in a security control system, where it can be used for facial recognition. The FBI and airport security systems both use facial recognition software to screen passengers for danger. Our proposed method begins with activating the camera via a user-friendly interface and setting the initial shot. To find and isolate the face ROI in the video image, the ViolaJones algorithm is used. In the pre-processing phase, we can resize images without sacrificing quality if that becomes necessary. After grayscale images have been converted, any remaining noise is removed using a median filter.
