FACTORS ENABLING THE USE OF CUSTOMER CENTRIC AUTOMATED BANKING SERVICES: A SURVEY

Abstract
Today banking system is mostly depends on click strategy. After emergence of COVID-19 customers are frequently using these innovative automated banking services for: Digital receipts & payments, Electronic Fund Transfer, RTGS/ECS, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Debit & Credit Cards etc. The objective of this paper is to study factors enabling the use of customer centric automated services of various banks operating in four administrative division of Haryana (Gurgaon, Rohtak, Hisar & Ambala) and Delhi. Total 750 respondents were analyzed by various statistical techniques such as: frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Games-Howell and Tuckey test. The study revealed that several major factors such as: “Reliability”, “Accuracy”, “Cost Effective”, “Security”, “Easiness” and “Convenience” are the major factors which enables the customers to use automated banking services. The study provides various factors and meaningful direction to bank management and decision maker to overcome their weaknesses and make some strategies for higher customer satisfaction.
