Abstract

An epidemiological study of cesarean section indications and maternal and fetal outcomes can help health policymakers address the high prevalence of this surgery as a threat to public health. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the indications for the first cesarean section and its maternal and fetal outcomes.
