Immunohistochemical Expression of CD 133 in Colorectal Adenocarcinomas and their Corresponding Lymph Node Metastases

Abstract
Colorectal cancer (CRC) occupies the third order among commonest cancers worldwide. In Egypt, it ranks the 7th common cancer. CD 133 is a cancer stem cell marker which is correlated with several poor prognostic factors in various types of human cancers. In the present study, we explored the immunohisochemical expression of CD 133 in colorectal adenocarcinoma and its association with various clinicopathological features.
