Vivek Kumar Dwivedi , Akshata Nara , Parameswarappa S. Byadgi
Abstract
Ayurveda has mentioned the causes of disease into three main categories: AsatmendriyarthaSamyoga (unwholesome contact with the object of senses/ improper contact between sense organs and objects) 2. Prajnaparadha(intellectual
blasphemy) and 3. Parinama (Kaala)( (seasonal variation). These three major causative factors are responsible for the genesis of most of the diseases because these three factors bring abnormality in the doshas, dhatus, agni, srotas, malas,
upadhatu etc leading to development of diseases and disharmony. Hence its detail knowledge is necessary to prevent the diseases and their exacerbations
