Abstract
Indium doped CeO2 nanoparticles were blended by a cost proficient hydrothermal technique. The physio-chemical
qualities of the synthesized nanoparticles were examined utilizing X-Ray Diffraction spectroscopy, UV-Vis
spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy and SEM/EDAX analysis. XRD spectra confirm the formation of cubic shaped CeO2
nanoparticles. The crystal size of the nanoparticle is found to diminish with increment of in concentration. SEM
image reveals that the incorporation of in makes a considerable change in the morphology of CeO2 nanoparticles.
The bandgap values of In doped CeO2 nanoparticles were found to augment with addition of doping concentration.
The FTIR spectroscopy identifies the functional groups present in the as-synthesized nanoparticles. The elements
present in the synthesized nanoparticles were confirmed using EDAX spectrum.
