Information-based consciousness and psi: The Cryptochrome Theory
Yung-Jong Shiah
Abstract
Evidence that consciousness is information-based is the extensive evidence for the existence of psi.To explain this process, I developed the Cryptochrome Theory (CT), which hypothesizes that cryptochrome, a flavoprotein present in all living systems, is a “transducer” of psi because it has the characteristics of quantum biological molecules. According to the CT, consciousness triggers a cascade of biochemical reactions that lead to the manifestation of psi. A series of rigorous psi experiments were conductedon targets ranging from humans to plants to stem cells to support the CT.The paperalso concludes by providing possible topics for future research
