Abstract
Marble powder research has gained considerable interest in recent years, spanning disciplines such
as civil engineering and construction materials. The marble industry generates approximately 30-
40% waste during production, leading to significant environmental dust concerns. This study
investigates the behavior of concrete when cement is partially replaced with varying percentages of
marble powder, aiming to address waste management issues while maintaining required strength.
Cement in M40 grade concrete was partially replaced with marble powder at 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%,
and 25% by weight
Keywords
Marble dust, M40 grade concrete, Compressive strength, Split tensile strength, Flexural strength, Sustainable construction. Industrial waste management Environmental impact.
