Abstract

Background: Cesarean delivery is one of the most commonly performed obstetric procedures worldwide. Anaesthetic technique plays a crucial role in determining maternal perioperative outcomes, particularly hemodynamic stability. The placenta reflects maternal and fetal physiological conditions and may provide insights into vascular and perfusion-related changes occurring during pregnancy. Limited data are available regarding the relationship between anaesthetic techniques used during cesarean delivery and placental histopathological findings.
