Measuring Level Of Work Stress Among Software Engineers In India: A Post Covid-19 Pandemic Study

Abstract
Work stress is the mental and physical strain due to the stressors in the workplace which could be both negative and positive. This study focuses on measuring negative work stress caused due to Job Demand, Reward, Control, Conflict, Support, Work and normal life, Organisational role and ambiguity, Self-worth and Job security among software engineers in India. The study was conducted during the post covid-19 pandemic period which reveals the new level of work stress existing in the software industry. The study was conducted on 625 software employees working in different IT parks.
