Abstract
Insights on the 'power' of the media Violence, sexual promiscuity, and sexism
towards women are often blamed on the media. Products and services are promoted
via various media outlets. Stock market crashes, product sales declines, high-ranking
officials' resignations, and even the removal of presidents have all been linked to
stories that appeared in the world's most influential media outlets.
