Abstract

Over a century ago, the only way for doctors to see what is going on inside a patient's body is to physically cut the patient open. On the other hand, this started to completely change when a variety of helpful medical imaging techniques are develop. These techniques are able to produce images of the patient's internal organs and bones without causing any discomfort to the patient.
