Methods for Identification of Parathyroid Glands During Total Thyroidectomy

Abstract
Parathyroid failure is the most common symptom after thyroidectomy. To
prevent it, a gland was preserved in situ or an ischemic one was auto transplanted. This
mini review explored different methods for identification of parathyroid glands during
total thyroidectomy
