Neonatal developmental dysplasia of the hip: a review

Abstract
Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is the most frequent inborn
deformity of the locomotor apparatus.DDH represents a spectrum of anatomic
abnormalities in which the femoral head and the acetabulum are in improper alignment
and/or grow abnormally. This review aims to shed light on developmental dysplasia of the
hip including prevalence, risk factors, diagnosis and how to prevent such a condition
