Abstract
The study is limited to the online purchase of fake trademarks that infringe the intellectual property rights of their owners, without taking into consideration the legal consequences that this type of commercial activity brings with it. The general objective was to analyze the scope of the sanctions provided for in the legal system, related to intellectual property in Ecuador
