Abstract
In this paper, the implementation of open source software and its application in Central Library at Mohamed Sathak Engineering College are discussed. The old technique of an academic library has been replaced by a digital method thanks to improvements of information technology. Open source integrated library systems have caught the interest of librarians and information scientists in recent years. In the current digital age, the transition is essential. When the library is automated, it enables users to find what they need when they need it. The development and updating of the central library's database of books and other materials at Mohammed Sathak Engineering College is the goal of this study. To achieve this, it is essential to implement the open-source Koha integrated library software, which offers a variety of search options to locate books and other resources, generates reports of students' and staff's due dates by day and month, and lists the books that are currently available as well as information about missing books.
