Abstract
Oxide of antimony (III) (Sb2O3) is a type of amphoteric oxide, is used in a variety of applications is a pacifying agent for glasses, ceramics, enamels, catalyst, production of plastic, and the vulcanization of rubber. Polymer blend films were prepared by mixing polyacrylamide (PAAm) and polyethylene glycol (PEG4000), with different contents of Sb2O3 nanoparticles by casting method. The diffusions of Sb2O3 nanoparticles within the mixture were examined using optical microscopy.
