POLICY ON PREVENTI ON OF RELIGIOUS RADICALISM OF IN DONESIAN STUDENTS

Abstract
The thriving and developing radicalism ideology has infiltrated the campuses. As many as 39% of students in 15 provinces in Indonesia are interested in radicalism. Religious radicalism in students needs serious concern. Not only vigilance, but it also needs fundamental policies that organic seeds do not sow the campus. This study examines and analyzes the appropriate policy programs to tackle the spread of radicalism ideology of the state university (PTN) student in Central Java. Campuses must have reliable legal protection in combating the spread of radicalism ideology of PTN student in Central Java. Therefore, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education must take a role in making radicalism countermeasures among students as it has gone unnoticed so far. This research collected in three ways data; they are library/document study, interview, and questionnaire. Interviews were conducted with various parties especially stakeholders and activists of HMI, PMII, KAMMI, Ex-HTI, and PTN student organizations in Central Java. The obtained data were analyzed with legal hermeneutics, then by concluding.
