Abstract
Quinoline has gained much importance as a heterocyclic compound because it has numerous uses in both synthetic and industrial organic chemistry, it has also piqued the curiosity of academics and scientists, thus over a large period of time much research has been done and is still going on quinoline derivative as a drug to cure various types of cancer. Therefore, this review is compromised of the physiologically active quinoline derivatives showing an effective anticancer activity that will provide a brief idea to the researchers in the future for the development of a potent and effective drug molecule.
