Power characterization of face detection techniques for different process nodes
Manjunatha Visweswaraiah, Dr. Somashekar K
Abstract
Face detection is an important technique in face recognition systems. It is very widely used in numerous applications like banking, defense, smartphones etc. face detection process real time data and there will be huge switching activity which directly affects dynamic power and hardware implementation of these techniques needs to have power efficient architectures for both functional and test mode. The work aims at characterizing face detection techniques for power and designing power efficient architecture.
