Preparation a Polymeric Composite PVA-TiO2-Ag by Liquid Casting Method is Applicate it in Anti-bacteria Field
Fatema Sattar Jaber, a and Hayder M. Abduljali
Abstract
Prepared the nanocomposite (PVA- TiO2-Ag) was done by pouring the solution. The influence of densities of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in terms of optical characteristics of the nanocomposite (PVA- TiO2) and its applications as anti-bacterials was studied. The outcomes of the experiments of the optical characteristics of the (PVA- TiO2-Ag) nanocomposite showed an increase in the absorbance, absorption coefficient, real and imaginary isolation constants, and optical conductivity by increasing the concentrations of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). And the permeability began to decrease with a rise in concentration level of (AgNPs). The nanocomposite (PVA- TiO2-Ag) was also tested as anti-bacterial for gram-positive (Bacillus cereus) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria. The leads showed that the inhibition area increased with the increase in the levels of Ag nanoparticles concentration
