Psychological Well Being of the People Residing in Vaddakkankulam Vicariate in Catholic Diocese of Tuticorin: A Quantitative Study

Abstract
There is a correlation between a person's psychological well-being and their life quality and their social
well-being. It includes subjective fulfilment and individual enjoyment, both of which are determined by
the psychological state of the person in question as well as the circumstances around him. In light of
this, the purpose of the current research was to determine the level of psychological health that exists
among the population that resides in the Vaddakkankulam Vicariate in Catholic Diocese of Tuticorin. In
the research, a standardised questionnaire that Dr. Devendra Singh Sisodia and Ms. Pooja Choudhry had
designed was used (2019). The research had a diverse group of 206 people who took part in it as
participants. The investigation revealed that the kind of family structure maintained by the participants
was a significant factor in determining the psychological health of the sample. For the sake of the
people's own mental health, steps may be done to give sensitization programmes on harmonious living
of the people with their fellow beings. This would be beneficial to the people
