Rational drug design and synthesis of some 2-(2-phenyl1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)acetic acid derivatives as potential angiotensin receptor inhibitors

Abstract
Background and Objectives: After knowing the importance of benzimidazoles in various diseases, in present work, we aimed at preparing some 2-(2-phenyl-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl) acetic acid derivatives as potential angiotensin-II receptor inhibitors. Method: The designed derivatives were subjected for the calculations of Lipinski rule, Veber’s rule, ADME analysis, drug-likeness properties and molecular docking.
