Abstract

In developing nations like India, Africa, refrigeration and air conditioning equipments still use halogenated refrigerants. These refrigerants are cheaper and exhibits excellent chemical and thermodynamic properties. However these refrigerants are adversely affecting our environment by depleting the ozone layer and causing the global warming.
