Recommendations of International Guidelines for Exercise Prescription of Type 2 Diabetes Patients: A Literature Review (2010-2021)

Abstract
Physical activity is an important component of type 2 diabetes prevention, control and management. Aim: To analyse guidelines and recommendations of different scientific organisations and design exercise prescriptions for type 2 diabetics.
Keywords
The study states that exercise plays an important role in the prevention of T2DM, control the insulin sensitivity and for improving the quality of life of an individual. Exercise recommendations should be customised according to individuals and not stereotypic. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is substantially beneficial for one’s health
