Reflection and Refraction Phenomena of SH-Wave Propagation at an interface of two Micropolar Elastic Solid Half-Spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the reflection and refraction of SH-Wave propagation at an interface of two micropolar elastic solid half spaces. We obtained the ratios of amplitude of reflected SH-Wave to incident SH-Wave and amplitude of refracted SH-Wave to incident wave. With the help of MATLAB software, the graphs of these amplitude ratios are shown against the various incident angles.
