Role of Vitamin D3 in the Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Prolapse

Abstract
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of vitamin D3 in the management of
lumbar inter vertebral disc prolapse, and to determine as to whether optimal level of 1,25-dihydroxy
vitamin D3 prevents the recurrence of pain, other symptoms and improves the disc health.
