STRATEGIC IMPACT: THE ROLE OF TRAINING IN TRANSFORMING TIRUNELVELI’S IT & ITES SECTOR

Abstract
This article explores the impact of employee training and development as a strategic tool in the IT and ITES sector in Tirunelveli District. The study investigates how training programs aligned with organizational objectives improve employee performance, retention, and support succession planning. Focusing on IT & ITES employees, the research highlights how organizations ensure that training is relevant and timely, empowering staff to address both current and future industry demands. Using a structured methodology with feedback from 224 employees, the findings reveal high levels of satisfaction with the relevance, timing, and effectiveness of training programs. The study emphasizes the importance of training in driving both individual development and overall organizational success.
