Shoulder pain and disability after mastectomy

Abstract
Background: Shoulder pain is a common condition after mastectomy, results from several complications such as, lymphedema, axillary web syndrome, and radiation therapy after surgery. Early detection and treatment is important in prevention of this condition (Aatik Arsh, 2019).Moreover, this condition is responsible for activity limitations; approximately 17-60 of post mastectomy patients suffer from it. Therefore, these problems that negatively affects the women's quality of life (Boucheron et al., 2021; Ali et al., 2018).
