Socio-Economic Determinants Associated With Hypertension among People in Punjab, Pakistan

Abstract
The results of the study shows that not only biological factors are linked with the disease hypertension but also socio-economic factors are very associated with this. The people with higher education, employment and small family size had less exposure to hypertension as compared to people with no education, unemployment and large family size. It is recommended that government should come up with a comprehensive model to improve the living standards of general population to defeat the disease of hypertension.
