Studies on Isolation and characterization of phytoconstituents from unsaponifiable matter of petroleum ether extract of Soymida febrifuga A Juss Leaves.

Abstract
Soymida febrifuga a common Indian medicinal plant used for the various ailments due to its active gradients. The current investigation for the isolation of such ingredients forms leaves. Separation of compound in petroleum ether extracts has been carried out. The separation, isolation and characterization of compounds are carried out by TLC, CC, GC MS, spectral analysis, C- NMR and H-NMR. Results are the isolation and identification of “Oleanolic acid” from Unsaponifiable Matter of Petroleum Ether leaves extracts
