Safaa Salih Hassan
Abstract
This study was conducted in Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Teaching Hospital in Babylon Province. The study included the collected (90) sample ranging in ages from (14-84) years, distributed as follows: Renal failure patients group (18) sample, Renal failure patients and pressure group (20) sample, The group of patients with Renal failure, pressure and diabetes (22)sample, in addition to the control group (30) sample. The results showed a significant increase at (P<0.01) in the mean levels of thyroid stimulating hormone, malondialdehyde, urea, creatinine, while the results showed a significant decrease at (P<0.01) in the level of free triiodothyronine, free thyroxine Free thyroxine as well as a decrease, catalase and glutathione peroxidase in patients with renal failure compared with the control group, while as,didnt show statistical analysisAny significant differences in mean values between groups of patients ,except for the group of patients with renal failure, the increase in the level of thyroid stimulating hormone was higher compared with the other groups, as well as the group of patients with renal failure, pressure and diabetes, the increase in the level of malondialdehyde was higher than the other groups, as well as the group of renal failure patients was lower The level of catalase is lower than the other groups.
