Study of virulence factors of Staphylococcus aureus from various clinical specimens in the tertiary care hospital.

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the pathogenic gene in Staphylococcus aureusstrain isolated from clinical
specimens of burn patients in tertiary care hospital.Material and Methods: A total of 100 strains of
Staphylococcus aureuswere isolated and confirmed by using a standard biochemical and laboratory
methodology in accordance with CLSI principles. All confirmed S.aureus were subjected to detection of
femB, mecA and PVL markers by PCR.
