Abstract
The construction industry faces increasing pressure to adopt sustainable practices due to growing environmental concerns and resource depletion. This comprehensive review examines the latest developments in sustainable construction materials and techniques for green building development. The study analyzes various eco-friendly materials, innovative construction methods, and their impact on building performance and environmental sustainability. Through extensive literature review and analysis of case studies, this paper explores the effectiveness of different sustainable materials, including recycled aggregates, bio-based materials, and advanced composite materials. The research also evaluates the integration of these materials with modern construction techniques to achieve optimal building performance while minimizing environmental impact. The findings demonstrate that incorporating sustainable materials and techniques can significantly reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and enhance building longevity while maintaining structural integrity. This review provides valuable insights for construction professionals, researchers, and policymakers in advancing sustainable construction practices.
