Sustainable Economic Development of Renewable Energy in Vietnam
Bui Anh Tu, Nguyen Duc Duong
Abstract
Vietnam is evaluated as a country with potential for development in renewable energy, especially energy sources from wind power and solar energy. These energy sources play an important role in the economic development of the country in the current context. However, the current mechanisms and policies on renewable energy development are still overlapping, which has not encouraged all economic sectors to invest in this field. To overcome the shortcomings and limitations, it is necessary to have preferential policies soon to encourage the development of renewable energy in Vietnam, contributing to sustainable economic development.
