Abstract
Cross-linking Chitosan/Poly (Acryl amide-Acrylic acid) Hydrogel (P(CH/AA-co-AM)) synthesized via free radical
polymerization of Acrylamide and acrylic acid as monomers after that addition chitosan, using MBA and KPS as initiator.
The produced materials' structural, surface, and thermal properties were determined using the following techniques:
FT-IR, TGA, TEM, and FE-SEM. This study is concerned with a significant application of surface chemistry in the fields of
removing heavy metals.
