Dr. Sachin Mahale, Mr.Kavish Prakash Dawda
Abstract
The researcher made the decision to examine the workplace stress of workers after doing a comprehensive literature evaluation of more than 25 research papers and theses and having a conversation with firm specialists. The research was carried out on a selected industry in the Mumbai region. The data was gathered via the use of a standardized questionnaire, which was then given to seventy different workers. From those, 64 were used for the data analysis, and the remaining 6 questionnaires were not completed by the respondents. It was discovered that there is no significant association as well as a difference of opinion among the various age groups of employees working in selected industries in the Mumbai Region. Workers may experience work-related stress owing to a number of factors, including but not limited to excessive workloads, poor working conditions, and the lack of enough resources to meet employees' demands. It's a widespread issue in corporate settings, and it has repercussions for workers' productivity, morale, relationships, and wellbeing at home and in the community. This article reports the findings of a survey conducted with workers in the industrial area of Mumbai. Interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data from a representative sample of workers at a subset of the facilities in this major manufacturing center near Mumbai. Management would do well to deal with the many things that cause stress at work if they want to make their employees more productive.
