THE WOUND HEALING EFFECT OF HERBAL OINTMENTS FORMULATED WITH SESMUM INDICUM OIL( TIL OIL) WITH RAL RESIN

Abstract
Burn wounds rank among the most serious healthcare issues. Many studies reported the effectiveness of natural products in the wound-healing process. The ability of herbal ointments prepared with varied resin concentrations and Seamum indicum oil to treat burn wounds. Ointment has been tested in vivo on wistar albino rats utilizing several wound healing models. The effects of the formulations on wound healing were contrasted with those of a commonly available commercial ointment. All of the wounds demonstrated a steady reduction in size over time, proving that the 8% resin (Ral) concentration ointment was effective in treating the artificial wounds.
