Abstract
The Ballenita parish - province of Santa Elena has cultural and natural resources that can help this town to develop economically, culturally and socially, as long as there is planning in the region, emphasizing the value that these resources can have taking advantage of them and offering them sustainably and responsibly to the tourist demand. The objective of this research is to propose a tourist circuit as an alternative for the Ballenita parish through the application of research methods and techniques to contribute to the diversification of the tourist offer for the Ballenita parish through the tourist circuit. The methodology used in this research was exploratory, where theoretical methods (inductive and historical-logical) and empirical methods (survey, interview and field observation) were used. The results allowed identifying the number of existing resources with the possibility of greater visitation within the tourist circuit. Furthermore, the current diagnosis of the resources that could be identified for the tourist offer was obtained using the observation card carried out in the field. In conclusion, the tourist circuit as an alternative for the Ballenita parish is an excellent option to diversify the types of tourism and sources of employment. Therefore it is viable to carry out different tourist activities in the area
