Abstract
Neo-adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation has been shown to reduce tumour size and the risk of local recurrence in individuals with advanced rectal cancer. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) is measured by diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI), which is sensitive to inter-tumoral alterations generated by CRT and gives biological information pertaining to tumor cellularity and the integrity of cell membranes
