The effect of applied voltage and needle diameter on the structural and optical properties of PVP/CuS composite nanofibers prepared via electrospun
Ammar A. Muhammad , Isam M. Ibrahim
Abstract
This work was carried out to form nanofibers from a PVP/CuS composite using an electrospinning technique. The morphological and optical properties of the formed films were studied by FESEM, FTIR, and UV-VIS devices, and we obtained linear fibers with nanoscale dimensions. The results showed that the diameter of the resulting nanofibers with a needle (30 G) was smaller than the nanofibers the product from measuring needle gauges (27G and 24G) when applying a DC voltage (25 kV), and the same result appeared when applying a DC voltage (20 kV).
Keywords
